Who is responsible

Friendsmas is an initiative of Stichting Praise Valley Temple, based in Amsterdam. The foundation is the data controller for the data collected through this site. Questions can be sent to info@friendsmas.nl.

What data we collect

Only what you enter yourself in the sign-up form on the choir page:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your motivation, if you fill it in. This field is optional

We do not ask for your address, your age, your health or your financial situation. If any of that turns out to be needed during the programme, we ask for it separately and explain why.

What we use it for

To contact you about taking part in the Friendsmas choir, and to let you know when the programme starts. That is all. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it on.

On what legal basis

You fill in the form yourself so that we will contact you, so the processing rests on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, after which we delete your data.

How long we keep it

We keep sign-ups until at most twelve months after the edition you signed up for, or until you ask for deletion. If you do not take part, we delete your data within six months of the last contact.

Who else can see it

This site is static and has no database of its own. The parties involved are:

• Cloudflare Pages, where the site is hosted. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the site
• Our email provider, because your sign-up reaches us as an email at info@friendsmas.nl
• Nobody else. The typefaces and the script files are hosted on our own server. Your browser therefore makes no connection to Google Fonts or a script CDN, and your IP address is not sent there

Cookies and measurement

This site sets no cookies, uses no trackers and has no visitor statistics. That is also why you see no cookie banner.

Photos and recordings

During the programme and the concert we take photos and video. We ask participants for written consent in advance, per type of use. No consent means you are not filmed, and that changes nothing about your participation.

Your rights

You may see what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email info@friendsmas.nl and we will respond within four weeks. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
